Nile 1.6 (OM) - TEST6 (12 Oct 2026): TEST5 + new environment colour actions = TEST5 (reads the updated TAC files past 2 GB; LAA / 4 GB; autosave every 5 min; crash files; 3D preview crash fix) + an updated event_data.xml. Nile.exe, gobj.dll and misldr.dll are the same files as TEST5. New actions (in the action group "General", after Fog Color and the other environment actions): Sun Color sun(R,G,B) sun / moon light, 0-255 Sky Light Color sky(R,G,B) light from above, 0-255 Ground Light Color ground(R,G,B) bounce light from below, 0-255 Horizon Color skyfog(R,G,B) the band of fog on the horizon, 0-127 Lightning Color lightning(R,G,B) tint of lightning flashes Color Fade colorfade(secs) put it BEFORE the colour actions: they fade over that many seconds instead of snapping Changed: Fog Color now says 0-127 (fog and horizon draw at double strength: 127 = full) Wind Speed is now "Wind Speed (kph)": Set Wind to N kph over N seconds Any colour value above 255 (e.g. 999,999,999) puts that colour back to the map's own. IMPORTANT: - These colours (and wind) only show in multiplayer on a server and clients running the FMJ onHook DLL (super DLL TEST9 or newer). Without it the actions do nothing - no error. - A map saved with the new actions should be opened in TEST6. Older Nile does not know the new actions. Install: back up your Nile.exe, gobj.dll, misldr.dll AND event_data.xml, then copy these four over them. Tested here: Nile starts and loads the new action list (checked in Nile's memory: the new action names are there with this file and absent with the old one); every new WAC line compiles in Joint Ops' own script compiler. Not yet tested: adding the actions to an event in Nile and playing the map - please try and report in TAC Mappers HQ.
